The Vivekananda Yuba Bharati Krirangan, popularly called the Salt Lake Stadium, is India’s largest stadium. The stadium is now being fully renovated for the FIFA U-17 World Cup India 2017. The stadium has a rich history of hosting numerous iconic matches that have seen record turnouts. The stadium will also host the Finals of the FIFA U-17 World Cup India 2017.

Salt Lake Stadium is located in Sector III, Salt Lake City. Getting here is easy via road in a private vehicle, an app based taxi or via public transportation.

  • From the Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose International Airport you walk about 10 minutes to the Tollygunge CTC Bus Terminus and board bus C-14/1 and get off at the Beliaghata bus stop and walk further for another 950m.
From the international as well as domestic airport, you can either hire a car, a local taxi or an app based taxi. The driver will get on to NH 12 for 1.2km and then onto the East Metropolitan bypass for about 10km and then turn onto Broadway Road for another 850m.
